I attained my BS from University of California, Davis in 2018 and gained undergraduate research experience in both plant production and breeding. After the completion of my undergraduate degree, I am continuing my studies in the Horticulture & Agronomy masters program at UC Davis.
My research interests are focused on the specialty crop watercress and aiming to increase the nutrient contents which provide important health benefits through consumption of this leafy vegetable. My research is both field and lab based. I hope to underpin genes for traits of interest. At this stage, I am expanding the population and harvesting seeds for more trials.
